A Bit About Me:
My name is Julia Laquerre and I am a third year student at Northeastern University studying journalism and ecology & evolutionary biology. I specialize in science journalism and enjoy writing about environmental science, drug discovery, and women’s health. I recently completed my first six-month co-op with Northeastern’s Climate Justice and Sustainability Hub. And I am currently working as a staff writer and copy editor at Northeastern's Science Media Lab. I also contribute to NU Sci as a staff writer and editor. Outside of my growing journalism career, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my cat, and making stained glass art.
